A liberal who doesn't understand the constitution or our system of government, so she wants it changed to suit her needs in the immediate moment without thinking of the consequences?

That just doesn't sound right.

She had problems, but we've now lost health care and civil rights.

It was 2016 when I went to bed, and when I woke up it was 1952.

ETA: Wow there are some mean people here.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote and should be President elect. The electoral collage is antiquated and should have been abolished a long time ago. I anticipate a lot of protests over this issue, mostly in California where Hillary Clinton won by a landslide. I'm not surprised about what happened here (Texas), since we're so regressive. Hillary Clinton had some problems, but we'll be sorry Trump is going to be president. This is all I'm going to say about the election.

I'm not melting. Hillary Clinton has an abrasive personality and isn't that likeable. My "melt" was when they stole the nomination from Bernie Sanders.

You just called for the end of the electoral college. You are melting.

I still would like it tweaked where each congressional district gets 1 vote each. But the Senator portion of the count would need to be figured out.

Glad the guy I voted for won as my original choice did not make it out of the primaries, but he did win last night.

The United StateS is not a singular entity, but a group of sovereign states who make up a union of states (countries) working together as ONE country.

Your ignorance of just what America is is why you struggle so mightily with the EC.

You realize that would mean we never had Bill Clinton and thus we wouldn't be discussing Hillary now.

So, if we could go back to the future, we're not having this conversation.

Exactly. Trump would have campaigned differently if the popular vote decided the election. He would have invested more time/money in California, Illinois, etc.

We lost health care? Explain that.

As for civil rights. Explain that too
