So there have been conservatives that have said this for a long time....but the Democrats were never willing to even entertain it...I'm guessing it has something to do with blue wall. So now that the wall finally got broken you want to talk about eliminating the electoral college.
You will be disappointed I think.
Regressive.....the movement has some real roots in Texas. Texas helped bring us back from the chasm that Obama had us in.

I'd love for California to try to declare independence, because it would fail to break away as an independent country but would subsequently fracture as a state and we'd wind up with a new Republican state, The State of Jefferson, made up of NorCal above the bay. This is only about the tenth time that has happened. The Electoral College is intended to keep the major urban areas/states from monopolizing the elections. Do yourself a favor and go look at a county by county national electoral map. It is 95% red.

dear "yoga".....you've got it all wrong ! The Trump win is a result of BOTH parties penchant for IGNORING the backbone of this nation...the WHITE,WORKING MIDDLE CLASS !!! We are sick and tired of hearing WE are responsible for virtually ALL of the ills of this country ! Tired of an out of touch with REALITY administration running for cover from EVERY negative event in the news cycle...sending OUR atty. general to virtually every white cop/THUG shooting ! Tired of the dozens of "social issues" taking a front and center stage position over the vastly more important issues such as JOBS,NATIONAL SECURITY,CORRUPTION IN GOVERNMENT AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS.....WAKE up !
