The simple truth of this election is that white collar workers were finally fed up and voted for change. Like everyone here predicted, there was a secret Trump vote and that won him the election.

not really. Definitely different values than the south. But CA/NY is in line with most of the northeast, plus the rest of the west isn't too far off - colorado, washington, oregon.

Trumps popularity was a direct result of the rise of social justice activism. A few progressives living in bubbles thinking their view is dominant. Main Street USA said frick you.
You can achieve social change without being smug, preachy, talking down to people and pretending you're morally superior. These people really can't grasp the fact that just because someone disagrees with them, those people aren't racist or xenophobic.

for those that enthusiastically supported trump, I 100% agree.
however, the exit polls suggest that a lot of people voted against hillary.

You are too stupide to ever be allowed to vote again
Art Briles lost his job because someone took sexual assault seriously, and he never participated in, nor light heartedly talked about it
Its become the latest "boy who cried wolf" scenario. People are tiring of this, and the race card being played, just to shut down the opposition

The Democratic party demonizes white males and christians which were the back bone of the formation of this country.

A few reasons come to mind, why one might vote for Trump as the only viable means to not elect Hillary:
1) Supreme Court appointments. A lot of moderates are fine with liberal policies, but want the courts conservative. Most people don't want the Constitution and Bill of Rights fiddled with. Frankly, if you're actively campaigning for the rights of transsexuals to go into whatever public restroom they want, I don't want you appointing a SC Justice.
2) Change of culture. It's ok right now for minority and special interest groups to riot and create a lawless state, and rather than protect your lawful citizens, the current administration invited the organizers to the White House, like they won the Super Bowl. People just trying to live their lives don't really care for that.
3) Political correctness; people are getting tired of that. Trump's no redneck Klan leader, he's a New Yorker and a flamboyant businessman. Suddenly, he became "a racist" because... what, because he ran against a Democrat??? Give me a break. Dude's no racist, he's a capitalist. He would hire any race, gender, etc if it gave him the edge in business, and I suspect the same with his administration too.

It's not the only reason, but it was certainly part. SJW shite has grown under a safety blanket of media dishonesty which created a false sense of security, and was topped off by a president who has been over confident in his vision of the country. And that's not to say that I don't think minorities should feel secure in our country, just that they have been given free reign to beat down on the white man to the point that they took it too far. Took it beyond the scope of reality. Created the concept of white privilege, microaggressions, etc. And it backfired in an electorate of middle class white people who were tired of getting shite on and blamed for all the country's ills.

I've been telling you this for as long as we've been on here. Why would I lie?

Tinfoil hat batshittery.

4. The MSM sucks
I've been telling you this for as long as we've been on here. Why would I lie? But "sucking" isn't enough. They're advocates. Bad ones. Dishonest bad ones.

5. My friends are easily upset and prone to going off on tirades
We got that on the right, too, baw.

6. That the democratic party offers few things in terms of ideas that are appealing to americans, and that it needs to do some soul searching to see how to broaden its appeal.
They offer nothing - it is a coalition of single issue voters and it may have reached critical mass. Now, is it dead? Certainly not - it remains a powerful (yet soulless) political machine. But, the idea it can just select the daughter of Satan and breeze in is at least disabused.
quote:
I also learned a few things like that the polls were mostly wrong.
To be fair to the pollsters - they couldn't really readjust the Dem models to pre-Obama levels of black vote without incurring charges of racism. And Trump was a unique candidate relatively speaking. They were either lapse voters or resistant to polling because of the intense negative media campaign directed at Trump. While I believe there is a baked in bias against the Republican candidate, generally, in the press coverage and media polls, because the MSM has a relatively hard left agenda, I think the polls will regain some accuracy/reliability in a more traditional campaign (hypothetically, had this race been Chris Christie vs. Joe Biden).

I'm on board with the rest of your post but this is absolutely laughable.
I do think its true. Trump won, even if he didn't engage in sexual assault, he did bring it up as "locker talk"
Apparently that is ok with a lot of people, its not ok with me
What he said wasn't sexual assault.
He said the certain woman will let famous men do anything they want, even gab them in their pussies. Keyword LET.
He didn't mean against their will.
There are some sluty women who go after famous men, athletes, and etc and throw themselves at them.
Room many people believe what they want to hear when it fits their agendas.

This is why you lose.
Trump wasn't talking about rape. Even the accusations against him were about Trump being too aggressive towards women, but nobody accused him of being an actual rapist.
Even women know what it's like to go for it and get shot down. Do not demean or cheapen the term 'sexual assault' with this low-grade inappropriate behavior. The term "groping" exists for a reason.
