1. I am completely out of touch with america. Outside of my wife's family, i know one trump supporter IRL.
2. Hillary clinton is extremely unlikeable. While she got more votes than DJT, she under performed romney and lost key solid democratic states.
3. We have a culture where sexual assault, even in jest or light hearted manner, is acceptable to a large segment of the population.
4. The MSM sucks
5. My friends are easily upset and prone to going off on tirades

You are a pretty thoughtful guy. I typically enjoy your perspective, but how could write the OP and not see the obvious conflicts?

I think I can think a particular aspect of culture is toxic while still being out of touch with it. I think a good example of this is islam. Islam has very toxic elements to it. The right routinely calls it out on this, but yet, they are quite far removed from it.
I can think cannibalism is bad, without knowing any cannibals.

i still think this. I think many people voted for trump not b.c of what he offered, but b.c hillary was his opponent. And supreme court
Just as I think most hillary supporters voted for hillary, not b.c they were "with her" but instead b.c she was not trump.
