I kept waiting for him to stick his tongue in Jameis ear

I've actually suggested Jimbo if les were to somehow leave LSU but I have since backed off that opinion a hell of a lot now.
Jimbo Fisher right now, is one shady son of a bitch that you should be watching carefully.

I'm sure this has been brought up but it was surreal to see Winston go up to him after the game and Fisher tell him to be humble with the media ("Remember, humble pie"). Weird that the mice caught that.

Yeah, Miles has a mixed record. Dismissing Perriloux is something that Jimbo and Corch would never have done.
On the other hand, the Jalen Mills and Jeremy Hill situations are not favorable for him.

Jeremy Hill was punished both times for his indiscretions one of which he wasnt on the team for.

I'm not sure I can even list all the issues Winston has had: rape case, crab legs, stealing soda, yelling phrase in student quad, student disciplinary hearing, autographs, ect.
No way Miles would have kept him on the team, and certainly wouldn't be playing.

Agree 100%... Although I think my view of him being "Better Guy" is due to the situation with his child. He does a lot of great stuff for the cause, but that is off of the field. Off of the field, he is prob a great guy, but on the field, not so much.
His refusal and obvious favoritism to do anything to win, i.e.. Winston, is

I think the fact that Miles had just won a national championship gave him the breathing room to kick Perriloux off the team, thereby sabotaging LSU's chances to defend the title. I wonder if Miles would have kicked Perrilous off the team if he hadn't won it all in 2007.

That being said, 99% of coaches would do the same thing and treat him with kid gloves. Charlie Strong seems like the exception to the rule, and oddly enough, Les Miles
Les Miles took Tyrann Mathieu's shite for a little while. If we'd won the NC I venture to guess he would've stuck around a bit longer.

it's not like this is unprecedented. Tom Osborne lost plenty of credibility over his handling of Lawrence Phillips.
the write ups of both the Washington and Colorado teams at the end of Don James and Bill McCartney's tenures are pretty amazing as well.
