He's a hell of a coach whether anyone wants to admit it or not. Our fanbase harps on every negative thing he does, but funny thing is, his calls and and management of the team are right 90% of the time. He's a much better coach at LSU than saban was here and that's a fact. We're extremely lucky to have him

Stop acting like the man is a saint. Ask Jarrett Lee's or Gunner Kiel's parents what they think of Les Miles. He shite on Lee big time in favor of a guy who was one of the worst QBs ever to play at LSU (despite his W-L record), and who is a thug to boot. His stubbornness cost us the NC last year and a shot at it again this year, and he's good for at least 2 head-scratching losses each season.

He's an average coach whose inadequacies are masked by the fact that he recruits well and, up until recently, hired capable assistants. The true test of his coaching abilities will come in the next few years, with Bama showing no signs of weakening and A&M coming on strong.

And the difference in programs is sliver thin. We just don't have as much to show for it.

You are such a pathetic little troll.

quote:

Ask Jarrett Lee

Who came back to LSU for a game, went down to the field and hugged Les' neck. That says a lot to me about what the situation really was, but hey...hang on to your butt hurt it adds to your comic value.

quote:

Gunner Kiel

Who couldn't leave mommy and is riding the pine at Notre Dame?

I'll stop there. The rest of your post is too silly to merit a response.

we play 13 games a year,sometimes 14.
It's not auto. You earn that by getting bowl eligble, and winning those games vs ranked opps. Wasn't that common an occurence if you've followed LSU for more than 10yrs, so don't devalue what we have now.
Maybe you can work it out in win% to top off your half full glass.

I agree Lee should've seen more PT, but this isn't true ......except maybe the thug part.
That "worst" QB finished with better career stats in practically every category %, TD/Int, ypa, etc and didn't fold vs serious rush.

who cares what kiel's parents think? and why do you think they're right? furthermore, you have no idea what the reasons were for not playing lee. your opinion is completely unsubstantiated.

ridiculous. all you know is the last domino in a chain.

this is the dumbest argument and it will never go away. how can an incompetent coach continue to stay on top of the toughest division of the toughest conference all while beating almighty god 3 times out of 7? oh, it's mere talent. he just throws some good players out there, they draw up plays in the dirt right before the snap and somehow stay in the elite of the elite in cfb. makes sense.

the success les has had is astonishing. seems like i heard recently he's the only coach in sec history to have 5 double digit win seasons in his first 8 seasons. that's freakin incredible.

Are you projecting UGA to beat Bama?
Would it really surprise you that much? LSU and aTm have proven that Bama is not invincible ... LSU just didn't put the nail in the coffin.
