People are so quick to blame Miles (including myself at times) and get ticked off. But look at all the current coaches in the SEC and see how many coaches have had 6 ten win seasons in 8 years of coaching.
Go back in the past few years of posts and see how many people thought Derek Dooley was a better coach than Les. For some reason, people have gotten it in their heads that coaching at LSU is easy, and that LSU is head and shoulders above the world as far as talent.
Both are untrue, and that Les has won 84 games in 8 years is a testament to his abilities. Sure, there are a few games we'd love to have back, but there isn't a fanbase on earth that doesn't have those games. He averages 2.5 losses per year, and that includes 2 seasons with 9 total losses. Let that sink in --
2005-2007 + 2010-2012 = 67-11
2008-2009 = 17-9
6 seasons, averaging 11 wins with 2 or fewer losses each time. That's pretty damn good.
