Not sure how I feel about this but looks like he is not interested. Listened to local insider on radio here in OKC. Not going to happen. Now you LSU fans can bash him to oblivion.

Weren’t you the moron who said this was a done deal yesterday?

Shut up. We do not want someone who cannot take care of business in the Easy 12.

ETA: Just a dumbass troll LINK

OU is a better job than LSU. Never understood why he would consider leaving in the first place.

If things are reasonable he's not going to LSU. No doubt. The idea that LSU could make a sensible sub-Jimbo offer to Riley and get him is/was hilarious, unless there is just something about his situation at OU we don't know.

Now if LSU is going to offer him a 7/85 or something like that (which I highly doubt LSU could do) - all bets are off. The money situation is getting stupid.

Of course, OU could see the MSU situation and realize this is a new, dumb world and probably still keep LSU from getting him even if LSU can put together a massive package.

I just hope Riley was properly compensated for being put through such an ordeal.

He’d be a fool to leave. He’s a god in Norman for mediocrity. Why go to a place with actual expectations?

Never wanted him in the first place. Dave Aranda is the guy but I'm not sure he's even on Woodward's radar.

Aren't you the same one who posted "absolutely no chance Riley turns down LSU" just yesterday?

Is that good for OU? I think it’s clear that y’all are a middle of the pack SEC team right now. Somewhere around Kentucky-ish.

Awful lot of hub bub about a guy who gets blasted nearly every time he plays a team with comparable talent

Kind of hard to see Riley making this jump with OU getting ready to join the league.

Makes me wonder whether Woodward let this float to prepare the fans for, "well, we tried to get those guys but they just wouldn't leave."

If you're right, LSU has dodged a bullet! The guy's gonna get gang-raped in the SEC. He coaches SOFT, and has no clue about building a defense. How many BIG games has he won during his time there?

I agree and I hope you’re correct. He’s like my 3rd or 4th choice I truly hope he turns it down.
I honestly like the guy but still think we can do better. He’s got no stress at OU. At LSU he will have more stress to win nattys. We just fired a guess less than 2 years after he out the best team in college football on the fiend. It’s LSU that’s how we operate

He'd be, and I mean this wholeheartedly, INSANE to leave OU for LSU... A true blueblood program, in which he's usually in the CFP discussion... Clean water, air, people etc.. to give that all up for Chiraq-Lite and to have to deal with this on gameday?

Don't see it happening...

LR has done a P!$$ poor job of handling the pr on all of this. If he wasn’t listening he could have made a statement to that effect. Taking a day for personal business during game week and a weak explanation for it fueled all of the rumors, along with people who don’t have a clue but act like they have insider info. Personally I think he’s been listening and talking to LSU, which I think he would be a fool not to. I’m sure this will drive his salary up which I am totally against. I think he’s already over compensated for the job he’s doing, but that’s how the game is played.
