re: Would you hang out with different people at your HS?

Several of my best friends became friends in middle school. We went to middle school, high school and college together. We added some friends along the way and, for the past 20 years, get together annually for a long weekend.

Yes but that's because a lot of people would buy weed from me in high school. I kept my close friends and don't speak to a lot of people from back home.

No, but I would branch out more than I did and hang out with some I didn’t back then.

My high school had about 4 middle schools that fed into it. There were some separate groups for Fresh/Soph years but pretty much all of them merged by last year or two.

I was part jock, stoner, nerd, and infiltrated the popular kids by making Prom Court. All of these groups were friendly with each other and it wasn’t like one seemed necessarily ‘cooler’ than the others by the time we graduated.

If I could do high school again I would be all up in that Shop Class and FFA. Those guys had a hell of a good time while I was taking the college prep track.

Definitely still a thing when I was in HS from 92-96.

I live near 3 of my close group, and see them monthly (if not more). The other 2 live out of state, and all get together and visit one of them yearly (for the most part).
