I missed the last 23 years of training on who is allowed into the cockpit during flight!"??????????????????????????????
Cargo(Part 121), Part 91, and Part 135 all have open cockpit policies. Not too far of a reach to say that charters on Part 121 carriers have access to the cock...
Curious how much the FAA is allowed to get involved since it occurred when they were in a foreign country?
Great question… depends on what airspace this happened.
The CAA could penalize United. If the CAA/Canadian law enforcement wanted to arrest the crew, they could. I don...

An ASAP stating “I didn’t know on charter flights we couldn’t do this and since one qualified crewmember was in the seat, we didn’t think we violated any FARs/SOPs.”
Just based on the video, I think the FO will definitely keep his job since he never left his duty position. CA is probably 75% keep...
congrats to your kid. But have we become so lazy we can’t roll our can to the street?
Most are retirees/middle aged who love to see kids actually working, so they support him.
I made my boy come up with a business plan, how he was going to market it, collections, etc.

Cash is great but one thing to consider is starting a small LLC for him. It’ll cost a little money but allow him to declare the money he is making and start a ROTH IRA.
My oldest is taking trash cans out on trash day and bringing them back in after school for several folks in our neighborhood. ...
