I know I'm aging myself here, but the last NBA game I watched was when Jordan unretired to play for the Wizards. I just can't get into the NBA. Seems no one really plays defense and the playoffs seem like they last 3 months. Now there's some weird mid-season playoff or something they do.
College athletics are going to kill themselves. Why watch NFL-Lite when you can just focus on the real thing? School loyalty has driven College athletics for over 100 years...even when it became big business. But now with 0 player loyalty and annual hired guns that are one and done I wonder how that will erode fan interest. Sure, it won't be immediate or anything, but over years and decades. I guess the people making decisions are like the athletes...they're "getting theirs" now and couldn't care less about the long term ramifications.

Yep. I care less and less. If we weren't in the Bama Basketball golden age, I would have retired with Saban. That was my plan. But then Nate came along. I've been following too long to stop paying attention right when Basketball finally climbs to the top.
