the defense didn't even bring up one good reason why any of this was justified.

Did you not watch the rest of the trial?

What we thinking the ruling will be boys?
This was going to be a hung jury (mistrial) from day 1. Nothing has changed.

judge pretty quickly disregards the motion.
I would not put much stock in that. He wasn't going to rule a mistrial and it is teed up for appeal now.

Lol, people on twitter saying the jury should be back by now. They seriously can't wrap their head around this whole process and that twitter can't convict him.

It'd be really great if the jury walked in to the room, looked at each and all said, "Guilty as frick. Yeah, we're done here."

How late does the jury stay to deliberate before calling it a day and resuming tomorrow?

I'm like you.... hoping someone can explain this. If it's up to the judge Chauvin walks.

Oof. Imagine having such little foresight that this is your opinion. The mob won’t always be on the “right” side, Shawndra

My guess without having watched a single minute of the trial is:
Not guilty on the murder charges
Guilty on manslaughter

They did explain it during the oral waiver. It simply asks the defendant if he would rather the judge or jury determine if the state proved beyond a reasonable doubt that his actions deserve a longer more harsh sentence

I’m guessing verdict tomorrow....NBA and such need time to plan fake outrage

If convicted, the case goes to appeals for mistrial.
Judge knows Water fricked up, he was pissed.

But would they do any better second time around?
