Trev Faulk could be up there if he didn’t decide to bolt early and have a short NFL career.

When Michael was healthy, he was the best, most physical linebacker in college football. Was a shame when he blew out his knee.

Trev was alot of fun to watch at LSU.
Lionel Turner, wasn't the best but his delay blitz sack in the natty was sweet

Brooks changed games. He was on his way to being another LT

So you’re saying you never saw some of those other players that others have seen play and automatically discount what did. Take Al Richardson for example, who not only had a better career at LSU, but still holds records at the position. That guy that played with an intelligence at the position we had not seen since Capone. You just dismissed him. Or Michael Brooke and Eric Hill who absolutely were both monsters in the best linebacking group in the history of the program.
Brooks was the best I’ve ever seen...

Eric Hill was bad man!
Ask the bouncer at The Bengal. According to my son, after he threw 2 men through 2 stalls the bouncer tried to grab him. He then threw him like nothing.
If they had all the cell phones like today, he would have never made it through school.

This has to be a joke right? He was way too slow for the college level. Great out of Notre Dame HS tho..believe he is a salesperson now
He got replaced by Beckwith.

Pound for pound either Mike Anderson or George Bevan.

I was at the game when we played Tennessee at neyland stadium and he hit their running back, Webb in their backfield. Webb was a huge, excellent back who played in the NFL for years. They collided face mask to face mask so hard that they had to stop the game and take their helmets off. They were stuck together.

It was George Bevan, but if you didn't get to watch him play, I could never explain it to you.

He was great no doubt. That ‘69 defense was incredible. My second year at LSU. Michael Brooks was just an animal.
