I had to work today, so no garage sales. When I got off, I went to one estate sale, dropped ~$280

Free: vintage carbon paper (grabbed it because of the cool graphics)

$11: 1928 map & schedule of LSU

$3: vintage The Who pin

$3: old pen knife

$2: vintage pack of new pencils

$6: 1981 Eagles SB pinback and helmet

Bought some cock for $6

$6: vintage MIB Astrodome ashtrays (sorry Owlfan, you ain’t getting these)

$6: two blank reel to reel tapes

$30: four reel to reel albums

$35: size 16 black label Chuck Taylor’s

$175: 1950’s aluminum Christmas tree and spinning color light wheel

It will look like this when put together. MsAntiqueTiger has been after me for years to find one. We are keeping them, that’s why I paid up for them

My grandparents had one of those trees. It was a 6' tree though. It had a color wheel as well. My grand father also had aboot 4 of those small pen knives. I remember the tree from aboot 1967.

That Who pin is the coolest thing you’ve ever posted.

While your threads are infinitely better than tulanelsu’s, that is still junk and I dunno where you’re going to put it unless you’re a hoarder.

On some other message board, someone is bragging he sold a bunch of crap to some dude for a few hundred bucks at an estate sale.

“He even bought reel to reel tapes. I was about to throw them in the trash and he gave me $6. Can you believe that!”
