re: My brother in law is missing (Houston) (UPDATE) - LSUTigerDoc
Still confused as to why he would respond to a stranger's text before responding to the hundreds he most certainly had from family and friends. Something's not right......

re: Possible Bigfoot evidence - LSUTigerDoc
Let's just assume you currently possess the hair of Bigfoot. And let's also assume that said hair will make it into the hands of the world's premier Bigfoot researcher for examination. How exactly would he/she confirm that the hair in your possession is that of Bigfoot? In order to prove that, ...

re: Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - any good outcomes? - LSUTigerDoc
Have you heard of Onivyde in the treatment of pancreatic cancer?
Onivyde is an old chemotherapy molecularly packaged in a unique way. It's used in widely metastatic disease after failure of standard first line chemotherapy. If all that has been said in this thread regarding the sta...
Thanks
You're welcomed. Chemo/radiation to this area is tolerable. There are many forms of antioxidant therapy that are touted as beneficial to cancer patients. I know very little about Essiac. There is a monograph aon it available on the Susan Komen website. It has no prov...

re: Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - any good outcomes? - LSUTigerDoc
From what I'm reading, your tumor is intimately associated with the major vessels in the center of your abdomen (probably the superior mesenteric artery or the superior mesenteric vein, or both). If this is the case, this involvement of major vessels makes your tumor unresectable by the aforemention...

re: Could this Bar Idea work? - LSUTigerDoc
Won't work. Even in an area where medicinal use of otherwise recreational/illegal drugs is allowed by law, the distribution of said agent would still require documentation of the indication for the drug. i.e. The "bar owner" would have to keep a chart on you documenting an evaluation and examination...

re: Chiropractor kills Playboy model - LSUTigerDoc
In seven years of private practice, I've personally treated two of these complications of a chiropractor's neck manipulation. One resulted in a stroke with significant motor deficits. The other resulted in a very large clot in the affected vessel but thankfully no stroke. ...

re: Mosquitoes in house - LSUTigerDoc
If you have several days in a row of mosquitos in your house, the short life span of adult mosquitos suggests that they are hatching inside your home. Look again for the source. Puddled water under a sink from a leaking pipe, unflushed toilet in rarely used bathroom, standing water in pan below refr...

re: What do the medical experts think of "chronic Lyme disease"? - LSUTigerDoc
You can file it in the same category as fibromyalgia. I am completely convinced that both of these entities are actually chronic fatigue syndrome and due directly to the lack of restorative sleep. It is amazing to me as a physician how universal the presentations of chronic Lyme and fibromyalgia...
