Akeem Jolla, top WR in the state, went to Miami after Josh Reed won the Bilitnekoff, turned out transferring to some podunk school in New Mexico.

Huey who? Huey Long had been dead for 20 years when JDC left LSU for aTm.

He has returned to do alot of things for the poor in Baton Rouge, but Baton Rouge did just as much for him and his family when his mother was killed. I don't hate the guy, but I dislike the fact that Baton Rouge took the kid under its wing and he headed off to Florida State.

And those that say he wanted to get away so it's ok for him blah blah blah, that could be the same reason some of the others left the state. It's not about hating a person I don't know, but it sure does suck when you see home-grown talent leave after helping keep the guy on track to make MILLIONS!

Why did he go to Texas A&M instead of LSU. What do you know?

Again...Curley was going to make him a defensive back. You think he would have had an NFL career as a DB. Not likely. He did the right thing. Like it or not...he did the right thing.

With the people he has helped into decent homes, he has repaid any debt he owed.

1. Lester Earl- this fricking waste of space did something no one else listed did to LSU. that frick got us put on probation by the lies he told the ncaa so he could play for that classless piece of shite known as roy williams. I will never forgive either one of these arse bags for messing up tiger basketball like they did.

2. The mannings - the hate they have for LSU makes me hate them. i can only slightly stand peyton bc at least he didn't go to ole miss.

What do you base this on? When have you heard any of them say anything horribly anti LSU? Eli MIGHT have a problem...having most recently competed against LSU...which was/is not a crime...no opponant-no game...Peyton was considering coming to LSU until Josh Booty commited.

All this Archie hates LSU and LSU hates Archie crap started with the advent of Internet message boards.

And again, Archie played more games for the entire state of Louisiana one month into his rookie season in the NFL, than he played against the state of Louisiana in his entire college career.

This has really gotten tiresome.

Time to forgive.

Please tell us you do not mean Huey Long. He was dead 22 years prior to JDC going to TAMU.

He wasn't hated for going to Tennessee at all. It was, for Hank, the best place at the time. Everyone knew it and there was nothing like the wailing and knashing of teeth when John David Crow left a few years later.

Crow was paid to go to A&M (I forgot the amount but it was a ton for back then, I read it in Junction Boys), plus Bear Bryant was the coach and promised him the world.

JDC had signed with LSU, and BB came on the LSU campus and hauled him off to aTm. Bear was a crook, through-and-through.
