Regarding Anthony Thomas, he was heavily recruited by Michigan from his Jr. year on and LSU showed no/little interest in him until well into his senior year. All of that in spite of the fact that Thomas gained 2,000 yards rushing his soph., jr and senior seasons. He set a state record for touchdowns and yet LSU remained luke warm toward him while Michigan drolled over him. If the question is ever asked, "Who do you have the most hate toward LSU for NOT recruiting?" Thomas belongs near the top of that list. All he did was rewrite the record book at Michigan and become the Rookie of the Year in the NFL. Blame in on the LSU recruiting coordinator in the mid-1990s.

Someone please enlighten me as to exactly why the love affair with the Mannings. They are extremely great football players. With all that money, what are their favorite charities? How do they help less fortunate? Louisiana has been damn good to the Mannings, have they been that good to LA? Really, maybe I just do not know and I would welcome some facts. Thanks (P.S. I never could "fall" for Eli!)
