It says the highest rated regular season game in 8 years...I'm going to go out on a limb and say the previous most watched regular season game was 2011 9-6 LSU vs Bama.

That's pretty awesome. ND has a large fan base, and it was a night game too, and this game almost doubled the amount of viewers

And that’s why they will let Bama back in the playoffs. It’s all about the ratings and ad dollars.
