Thus the Mulligan pressure mounts. Sales/marketing $$$$.

Does that put LSU with the 3 most watched games this year?

A rematch would be a ratings disaster

It says the highest rated regular season game in 8 years...I'm going to go out on a limb and say the previous most watched regular season game was 2011 9-6 LSU vs Bama.

LSU-Alabama drew 16.636 million viewers. ND-UGA was 9 million viewers, LSU-Texas 8 million viewers. It is the 5th most-watched CFB regular season game of the last 25 years. To put Saturday’s numbers in perspective, the game averaged a higher rating and more viewers than six of this year’s seven World Series games, including Game 6 (9.6, 16.55M).

That's pretty awesome. ND has a large fan base, and it was a night game too, and this game almost doubled the amount of viewers

And that’s why they will let Bama back in the playoffs. It’s all about the ratings and ad dollars.
