Knowing CBS it'll probably the middle of the 3rd come 4:30 lol find a stream by typing in "College football stream reddit" into google and just stream it on your phone while the other kids are dancing. Take some pics afterwards, be supportive, and high tail it home afterwards. I really don't see you making it home without receiving some kind of update/spoiler tbh

You can’t be held responsible for someone else’s mistakes, tell your wife to take one for the team. That’s why they made cameras with the video feature.

Sucks that it worked out this way, but you've gotta go to the recital. Due to my job, I've had to miss the start of many LSU games. The silver lining to the DVR is, until you catch up to live, you get to skip all the many, many commercials and even the halftime report if you aren't interested in it at the time (can always go back and watch it later).
The trick is avoiding social media/texts/etc about the game until you are caught up to live.

It’s your family bro. I’m missing 2 hours of it as well with something that’s very important. Your daughter is young once. They’ll be plenty of games.

This is really fricking easy. You go to the recital.
Posted on 11/4/19 at 7:46 am to dallastiger55
We're talking about a football game, correct?
Posted on 11/4/19 at 7:48 am to dallastiger55
You watch your daughter's recital. I missed the 2003 SEC CG vs Georgia watching my daughter in the Nutcracker.
You'll see or hear the 4th QTR.

Your record it, and turn your phone off. Don't turn the phone back on until after the game you're watching is over.

Recital, all day - every day
Have never regretted missing a football game

Buy your daughter a gift and some flowers, flip the bird to the ol lady, and watch the game

DVR the game, stay off social media, & go see your daughter dance. Don’t miss your children’s events to watch a football game.

Leave your wife and take your daughter. Tell everyone that she's forcing your kid to dance, make her out to be a monstrosity you see on these reality dance mom shows. Enjoy the game with your daughter and tell her that one day she will understand. After the game, it's up to you if you want to make amends with your wife.

Dude, I have a 9yo daughter that has recitals all the time.
Your daughter is WAY more important than a game that will likely not count if LSU wins.
Bama will always get a second chance. You won't IRL situations that MATTER.

A few options here:
1. DVR the game, make sure the wife tells anyone who knows you are a Tigers fan that you are recording the game. IF someone does inform you of anything going on meet them at Sonic after the recital.
2. Stream it on your phone with the sound on mute, however if there is a crucial play make sure you keep yourself in check.
3. Enjoy your daughters recital they don't happen every day and you will both remember this for years to come.
