What’s the best place you have been that no one else you know has.

No need to explain. I’ll research it myself.

Ontika Limestone cliff in Estonia.

Hara Submarine Base, a former USSR sub base in Estonia.
Trespassed through a hole in the fence to get in and see it. Got caught.....guard offered to give us a tour for 10 euro each. Done.

Worked there last summer for 18 weeks as the medical provider.
Hoping to go back next year for 5-6 months.

I’m currently in Kennebunkport, Maine. Great little coastal town that gets visitors but isn’t exactly a tourist destination.

ZhangMuTou, Dongguan, China. Research won't help - the special thing there is the people.

Shiripuno Lodge - in the Ecuadoran Amazon basin. It's 3 hours by bus from Coca, then 3 hours by small boat up the relatively small Shiripuno River. It's about 50 miles from the nearest road or power line. We spent a week looking for rare birds and saw a lot of wildlife. Great place with guides who really know their stuff.

Most of the countryside of Belgium, a lot of people travel to Brussels and hit Brugge, Ghent, and Antwerp but ignore the rest of the country.
