All of the goals would still be attainable

Win the sec
Beat Bama
Get to playoff
Win it all

A loss to Texas does not impact any of that. LSU would still control own destiny

A one loss LSU team undefeated in conference play is absolutely guaranteed a playoff spot, likely number 1 actually

If we lose that game it will be totally acceptable to be disappointed and pissed off for a week or two.

No shite

But then we’d have to win 10 in a row to have a legit shot at the playoff

If we don't beat Texas what makes you think we will beat Alabama?

Being challenged in the beginning of the season can make a team much better.

If we lose one game this year, please let it be Texas.

While your point is valid...

If we lose to UT, we definitely aren't beating Bama, UF, and likely aTm again.

There is less than a 5% chance we lose that game

We are at min a 2 TD better team

I think we will beat them by 2 scores.

But no way do I think they have less than a 5% chance to win. Where are you getting this?

How does losing a top 10 match-up on the road in week 2 translate to losing two highly anticipated SEC home games? Please help me understand.
