Yeah took it out and shot 50 rounds rounds out of it ive just never concealed carried, thought i might get tired of the extra item on myself, so i got a low cost but effective gun to try out.

Just bought a Ruger .380 LCP at academy for $200. Really easy to carry, lightweight and fits in a pocket. Weapon of choice for the rest of you OT ballers?

Return it and get a small 9mm.

.380s have no purpose now with all the options of small 9 mms.

I carry a Glock 43 or a Glock 17

Baw, just get the 26. You’ll be happy about your choice.

I have a 27 and a 43.

Like the 43 much more due to it being thinner....don't even feel it carrying it IWB.

Next one I buy will be a 19 though.

Glock 43, SW .38, or a Glock 17

I’d suggest getting a compact 9mm to carry. Has way more knockdown than a .380 and is just a hair bigger.

Man you jumped the gun. I was at the SHOT Show/Press Day at the Range (yes, I shot the fully auto 9mm and 25 round drum shotgun...f'ing awesome.) There are a ton of new guns coming to the CCW market that blow everything from previous years away. The new Ruger (sorry...info currently under embargo) is a lot better than the Glocks.

Living in the state of super majority liberals from Chicago running government I've already "assumed the position". The day 1 gun shop harassment bill signing and the shite that's going to come out of the Aurora shooting will be tied up in the courts for the next decade. Doing product reviews is going to be a huge PITA with waiting periods and time limitations on transfers. (Springfield Armory and Taurus are 2 of my primary 3...again, Ruger info under embargo.)

Still haven't gone through the convoluted Illinois CCW hoops but when I bought our first handgun I wanted the Sheild 9 with the Crimson Trace sight. My wife wasn't comfortable with guns yet so I bought what had turned into a piece of shite Diamondback 9mm with her imposed NRA Convention budget.

Wife carries the LCP but the previous model without a safety at all, just a heavy trigger pull. I carry the LC9S.

Glock 19 and kahr cm-9. I have an lcp an carry it only when I can’t carry one of them.
If your choosing to carry you feel like you want to protect yourself. I challenge you to shoot the lcp then shoot any midsize carry gun an decide which one you would want have in your hand if the opportunity to use it transpires.
When I carry the lcp I find myself wishing I had my other carry guns.

Same here but usually have a Glock 19 magazine grip extension in it. That way I have a full grip.

I need to get something smaller like the OP has or a pocket pistol though.
