dumb fricking justification for carrying a cheap gun

It’s a justification for carrying a reliable gun that’s easily replaced.

I have a full size M&P9 M2.0. I will probably switch to something else sooner than later.

M&P9 M2.0

Not sure about that one, but just after buying my Walther, my father-in-law bought an M&P 9MM Shield. After cleaning it, there was a small little pin that got stuck out in the slide track and it wouldn’t allow the gun to be reassembled. Couldn’t budge it. Looked it up on YouTube, and sure enough, it was a known issue. Had to send the gun back for repair inside the first week of ownership.

The Walther has no such issue. Also has a lifetime warranty, comes with three mags and a nice, hard carrying case.

Ruger 9mm LCP
Fits in my pocket.

S&W M&P 9mm I also have. Pocket fit but not as small as the Ruger.
I prefer it to my Ruger.

.380s have no purpose now with all the options of small 9 mms.

Curious to the reason for the 7 downvotes.

You can purchase a good 9mm roughly the same size as the .380s....but with the 9mm you get a little more power and ammo is more available and cheaper.

For anyone buying a CCW there is not much reason to go with a .380 anymore.

hickok45 just changed to the Sig P365 for CC and that is a huge endorsement. I prefer the Walther PPQ M2 myself.

If you ever have to use your carry gun, even if you're in the right, the cops will seize the gun as evidence and if you ever take possession of it again it will be a long long time.

So I carry a $250 Taurus PT111. If that's taken away I can get another for $250.

What a stupid statement. The cops can have my gun, I’m still alive and that’s all that matters. I won’t give a shite if I have to spend another $500 to replace it.

Not to mention I have more faith in the better gun. If it saves my arse I don't really care if I have to buy another one. Hell I own 3 or 4 carry guns anyway.

I don't carry anymore. Just couldn't make it into a habit. If I was going to carry, I would pick a .380 of choice. I just find them to be the easiest to conceal and have it disappear regardless of attire. (That's the big one.) Unless you like wearing Hawaiian shirts everywhere you go, in which case - pick whatever you're willing to carry.

this is my issue, whatever i carry cannot be seen, work related issues, my company has more of a don`t ask don`t tell policy but our accounts better not see it. i had put off carrying till one of our stores got held up and the employee was escorted into a bathroom and executed.

Why even carry?

Because I don’t like carrying a pistol that could accidentally blow my dick off.

Plus, we are not in the Wild West. You will never be in a quick draw showdown. If you ever find yourself in that situation, you waited too late to pull your weapon.

If you believe spending more equals better, please please please let me be your gun dealer.
