During winter when I’m wearing multiple layers I wear a Glock 19 or a Glock 26. Rest of the year I have a Glock 43.

I have a few carry guns but I’ll say one that has pleasantly surprised me is my Beretta Nano. I’ve had it for a while now, about 6 years.

I have a shield and it’s okay but I will also run a G19 soon.

For those with the Walther PPQ, it is a beautiful oistol and a terrific trigger but damn it’s almost as big as a 1911.

If I was going to carry, I would pick a .380 of choice. I just find them to be the easiest to conceal and have it disappear regardless of attire. (That's the big one.)

The new 9mms are just as small and concealable.

I wear a Glock 43 9mm with a crossbreed IWB holster with T-shirts with it at the 3 or 4 oclock position....and no one is aware of it.

Not sure about that one, but just after buying my Walther, my father-in-law bought an M&P 9MM Shield. After cleaning it, there was a small little pin that got stuck out in the slide track and it wouldn’t allow the gun to be reassembled. Couldn’t budge it. Looked it up on YouTube, and sure enough, it was a known issue. Had to send the gun back for repair inside the first week of ownership.

Did you contact Smith & Wesson? They have solid customer service and the pistol should have a lifetime warranty. My M&P is awesome. Not a single complaint. I chose it over Glock (hate incoming). It’s just a bit big for CC. Other than that, I’ll keep that gun until I die.

Gen 5 19 in a belly band. Small of my back is the most comfortable spot.

Really like the 19s. I carried a 23 for years.

Started of carrying in the small of my back until working with that draw in the range....not a great draw.

Easy to get your shirt caught in your grip and in a rush you "laser" your back and/or stomach as you draw.

3 oclock, 4 oclock, and 5 oclock positions provide much better draws.

That’s why the PPS is a better option, IMHO.

That was his, but yes, he did. Sent it back and they fixed it. He still has it. I just have issues with a gun that can randomly become unusable and leave you with no CCW option for days to weeks, assuming it’s your only CCW.

PPS’ geometry/ergonomics feels different to me. But it’s WAY more concealable.

I'm not advocating the 43.

The .380 served its purpose but 9mm is taking that niche over.

In the last five years, the 9mms have shrunk down to the .380 size and any differences are very small. You can easily find a small 9 mm that is concealable and you don't have to pay twice as much for the .380 ammo.

Talk about a disgusting insensitive thread with the recent events in Aurora.

How about not bragging about the killing machine in your pocket and have a real discussion on common sense policies to keep weapons of mass destruction out of the hands of citizens

Should we all walk around defenseless so we can be the victims next time? No thanks. You do that.

I can totally see that. Have you tried it with all three mags? Each one is a different capacity and offers additional grip room.
