I'm not looking for a bloody mary recipe, but rather some outlandish, over the top garnishes, or ways to doctor it up. Of course there's bacon and jumbo shrimp, but I'm curious about any other garnishes to make it memorable. I'm thinking about smoking tomatoes for the homemade mix. Perhaps a snow crab spear? Pickled quail eggs? Any ideas?

Too many garnishes make it a mess in my opinion and hard to drink in addition to possibly affecting the flavor of the drink itself.

I do like a slice of bacon from time to time. The pickled or boiled shrimp are good. I love olives that have been sitting in the bloody mary a while. No blue cheese stuffed, for me, though. You could make a skewer of sliced garnishes.

Celery
Marinated artichoke heart
Dill pickle, spicy pickle spear or cornichon
Pepperoncini or banana peppers are good
Marinated green beans, asparagus and/or okra
Cucumber spear or slice
Onion
Lemon
Lime
Radish slice

I think a platter of garnishes with some skewers put out is nice so folks can select their own garnishes.

I don't want an entire meal in my drink and nothing fried. Serve those things as apps.

Not a garnish, but if you want doctor it up, add some Korean Gochujang to your mix for the spice, it gives it great depth as well.

Cracklings rolled in a little extra spice, or cubes of seared pork belly, skewered
Cocktail crab claws (i.e., cracked, ready to eat pincers), marinated in something spicy
Fresh or pickled asparagus
Fried oysters on a pick
