You are his cousin?
Wouldn't that make him your cousin instead of your friend?

I went to LSU for 8 years, and back for many games since, and I've never seen people frying foods at a tailgate. Have you actually been on campus for a game? You saw someone frying food?

I see fried food at tailgates all the time.

My group used to bring out a deep fryer and cook up hush puppies, wings, fried fish, etc.

It's not as common as breaking out the grill, but it's out there.

You got all worked up, which was what she was hoping for and the whole reason the stolen meme stuck in the first place.

You're the guy in the locker room that wants to fight about "your mama" jokes.

Seems dangerous. Like a fry daddy and a generator, or full on propane fish frying rig? You just dump the grease?

Fried trout would be a baller spread. Frying up chicken wings sounds hard to believe, just something I've never seen there. I should probably walk around more.

es this is true except it was Ole Miss that took a hold of it snd ran. It happened when I was in school. I remember the prevailing thought was because the campus smelled like a carnival on gameday because of all the fried food. And corndogs are a particularly "low-brow" and "simple-man" type food, it was thought to fit for that reason also.

Back in the "wild west" days of motorhome tailgating when there really were no rules things escalated to the point where guys were bringing trailers rigged out with big fryers cooking up everything you can imagine including fried turkeys.
It's one of the reasons rules were implemented.

We fry gator and boudin balls for home Florida games. Dump out the grease when we get back to the house.

We used a propane rig, although we did have a generator available.

We drained the grease back into the jugs after it had cooled off post-game.

Hush puppies and boudin balls were what we fried up the most. Hush puppies frying certainly smell like corndogs.

The crew I tailgate with has a Cajun Fryer made by R&V Works

Runs on propane.
