Donald issues a threat.
Kim calls his bluff.
Trumpkins cover for Donald.
A story as old as time.
Whether you admit it or not, Donald drew a line in the sand that Fat Kim was happy to cross a couple of hours later.

That's almost as absurd as Scruffy's comment

agreed
THAT is why i call out the media
it's been corrupted by partisanship and literally coordinates with one of the 2 major political parties
you know who was the biggest loser of this corruption last year? Bernie fricking Sanders. it's very possible Trump gained the most

not a Trumpkin and i'm not even commenting on what he actually did

and before Trump could be given any time to pull an Obama, the media concocted a narrative to turn him into Obama
the irony of this is how they're basically reminding everyone of how ineffective Obama was and how terrible his foreign policy was

It is a partisan attempt to catch him in an unwinnable situation merely for partisan purposes.
They want to make Obama's red line comment and abysmal outcome seem more palatable while pushing for one of two outcomes:
1. Weakening of the US and Trump by attacking a "red line" comment, or
2. Pushing him to start a war with massive loss of SK lives, this giving the opportunity to attack Trump and those they view as the opposition.
What is it they are attempting to do? It isn't reporting of the news and no matter the outcome, including an actual positive one, Trump will be demonized.
As I've said many times, I didn't vote for him and I don't like him, but the absolute inability of the progressives, media, and republicans to give any chances to the Trump administration is infuriating and shows signs that the corrupt and partisan mentality is a massive detriment to our country's survival.
Your previous comment in this context isn't as inflammatory as some may think.

not a Trumpkin
I've come to realize they use "trumpkin" as an attempt to shame people into silence. Just like they did with "racist".

I want the media to be non-partisan or declare their bias

i didn't like/support Obama and i don't like/support Trump
even if you want to say the statements are similar, the issue with Obama's statement was the lack of response. Trump hasn't even been given that opportunity so the double standard is on the media, again, for their illogical and partisan narratives

And if you don't have an opinion in line with theirs you get the "you should stop getting all your news from Fox".
That one irks me because
1. I don't tune into Fox very often
2. They can't stand the only tv news outlet that provides a different viewpoint. They have every other station yet Fox is somehow controlling all the info out there.

The media and liberal reaction to this whole situation is bizarre. And quite possibly the most clear indictment yet of their mindset. Resist resist resist, at all costs.
The liberal mindset is to either, (1) push us into a war that we stand a good chance of getting bogged down in-paving the way for public sentiment to turn on Trump and the Repubs, or (2) embarrass Trump by creating a red line.
The first is borderline treasonous and seditious. The second is despicable. But hey, they are the communication arm of the Socialist/Dem party of the USSA. What do you expect?

Obama was one of the least effective foreign policy presidents of my life. (W for obvious reasons remains the worst...down around LBJ levels)
I'd prefer Donald wasn't telling Barack to hold his beer while he fricks things up even worse.

you do realize Trump's admin just got Russia AND China to agree to sanctions on NK? Obama never accomplished anything as difficult/major in FP

The media has really been trying to bring trump down to Obama's level on foreign policy. Pretty sickening

Not really. But the Dems don't vary from their playbook, even if they are losing. Bush still won a second term and both houses of Congress went Republican until near the end of Bush's second term. It did eventually get us 8 years of Obama.
