Haha There's some poor old shacks along 64. Probably a resident of one of them. It's not an unsafe or bad area by any stretch.

And that guy is no weirder than me drunk on my way to an LSU baseball game in 2013.
Circle K at boyd@burbank and spotted the googly car.

Dang. That looks nice. Having that YMCA there in walking distance is nice. Is it HOA driven? I wonder what that cost is.

OP I guess it's worth noting a positive. They don't track internet use much there. Just watch your bandwidth. Playing on the OT all day won't raise a flag, using Youtube to re-watch 2012 LSU/Bama in HD will most definitely raise a flag.

Level homes(Americana developer) builds pretty shitty houses. The wife and I looked at one of the big two stories in the front a couple of years ago. They were asking 415K and it looked nice but the garage would fit only one car, the appliances were shitty(fridge stove, oven and dishwasher were all bottom of the line Frigidaire) and the patio space was only about 12*10. You could just tel the fit and finish was substandard. There are a couple of homes in there built by Don Hunt that are very nice a well built but level is doing all of the construction now I think.

I know a couple of people that have purchased homes in the last year and all are having issues. One person has a pretty bad leak in the roof. The homes are DR Horton quality and are way overpriced.

Could be worse I guess they could be dsld quality

But I agree they are way overpriced for what they are it is nice the YMCA's right there there's an elementary school and the Walk-On's but it still doesn't justify the price being almost zero lot lines

You think DSLD is worse than Dr Horton?

I actually have no clue I've never lived in either nor would buy either. Just poorly made spec homes altogether.

CMs are terrible. The Bluffs can be good but overall FHCC are better. The Bluffs has a few weird tiered greens that hold water and get destroyed in certain places. . No doubt it's a better overall golf experience and a beautiful course. FHCC has its draw backs too (9 hole) but for living a :30 second drive from FHCC i don't play anywhere else often.

Lived in a DR Horton home for 7 years and there wasn't a 90 degree angle in the entire house.

Not ashamed to say I lived in a DSLD home for 3+ years. We had custom plans drawn and to get to our budget, we kept shrinking the size of the house. We ended up in a DSLD home for much cheaper. We picked out the lot, the colors, the brick, the granite, flooring, etc. We watched from the ground up and any issues we had, they fixed them right away. They setup inspections at various times during the first year and promptly fixed any issues we had. We lived there until we saved money to buy 3 acres and built our custom home that we designed. Overall I was very pleased with the home and other than the finishes, the home was very well built. Plus, you're not gonna get a house in Central for $100 per sf living any other way. We paid $264,000 for a 2622 sf living house including the lot in a nice subdivision. Say what you want about DSLD but they're not DR Horton by any means.

Don't get me wrong 8 know why young people move into them especially if it's a starter home. I just know people in dsld homes and they've all had a lot of issues.
