He's right.
LeBron is the best basketball player on the planet and yet people have had this inane hatred for him since he's entered the NBA.
He is the biggest, most legitimate threat to Michael Jordan as best NBA player ever, and people don't like it.

Except he's not in danger of surpassing Jordan, Jordan didn't spectacularly fall apart in a finals series. Jordan didn't bolt twice because he couldn't win with what he had. Jordan didn't take games off because he was tired.

Skip started that way back in the early 90s when he wrote in a book that Troy Aikman was gay based off anonymous sources. It basically got his arse booted from the DFW sports scene for life. I don't think I've ever seen anyone more loathed than he is around here. Nobody in media has anything nice to say about him and it's been like that since well before he became an ESPN "star".

I'm not even close to a LeBron-stan. I never liked how childish he could be early on w/dumb arse shite like walking around w/his shirt that said "Check My $tats" or his idiotic dancing on the bench while the game was going on. However, the intense hatred he brings out of people was a direct result of The Decision.

Yea, let's give MJ a pass for only making it to the finals 6 times. Losing before the finals is better than making it to the finals for MJ fanboys.
