Great result!

Got the three points and erased that massive goal differential.

About as good a result as we could have possibly asked for. Even the other games today went the way we wanted.

No reason we can't get 3 points in Panama and leap to 3rd in the table on Tuesday.

Best performance from the US in a long time.

He'll be ranked higher than Pele by the time he's finished. Of course they do.

Alexi just called this match a "cleansing" and a "rediscovery".

And that all the worry from earlier "melted away".

frick off, Jurgen.

That was the best part. I expected the 3 points but I was thinking 2 - 0 or 3 - 1.

Take care of business against Panama and we're back in the mix.

What a match by the USMNT.

Dempsey always seems to be clutch for the US. He was in the World Cup, in the Gold Cup, in the Copa, in qualifiers. He is physical, still fast, experienced, fearless, technical, and still the best finisher. Pulisic is the present and the future. He is the most creative attacker on the pitch, never stops moving, produces great combination play, and makes timely runs. Bradley looked in control playing from the back, where everyone but the former manager knew he should have been for some time now. He closed down space and snuffed attacks on more than one occasion. Altidore was very good tonight and did many things well. He is becoming more of a complete player, IMO. I think playing next to Giovinco has helped him grow his game. Nagbe and Lletget are both skilled and creative; I loved seeing them on the wings. Lletget is my choice over Bedoya. And Fabian Johnson did not even play tonight. Cameron was brilliant at RB but I look forward to him returning alongside Brooks in place of Gonzalez when Yedlin returns. Villafana was a lock on the left, quietly shutting Honduras down on his side. Howard still has it and his distribution is superior to Guzan IMO.

The US was split open on a few occasions and a better opponent would have scored a couple goals tonight. Gonzalez was directly culpable on one occasion while some careless turnovers in midfield created some of the issues. At times the wings were a bit wide and the midfield was stretched apart end on end. The defense needs to be tightened a little. One thing about Nagbe is that he does not play defense and with this formation the wingers need to play defense. Lletget does play defense and is one of his attributes. He is a true two way player.

All in all a truly outstanding performance.

I just woke up from the greatest dream last night. We beat the living shite out of Honduras. It was the best we have looked in years.

What an orgasmic game that was last night.

Just phenomenal

If we can manage 3 points next week we're more than back on track.
