Why would you subject yourself or your kids to that lifetime of confusion? There is some clown on TV right now named 'Scot'.

I'd be annoyed as "Scot" but it's much better than Brytanie

I know a guy named Scot. He was named using his grandfathers' initials. It was done to honor both of them, and worked out much better for him since he didn't get saddled with old man names.

I know a dude named Jayson and my whole life we've made fun of him. If I bump into him tomorrow I will make fun of his shitty name. I feel responsible for his kids being named Rob and James so the cycle was broken.

I dated a girl before whose name was spelled Shannan, instead of Shannon. She said her mom just didn't know how to spell it when she was born.

Also, I have seen Katelyn spelt several different ways. But no matter how you spell it, every Katelyn I've ever met was slutty.

I always told my wife that if she can't find our child's name on a gas station or souvenir shop keychain, our child won't have that name.
