No concerns about adding Swaggy P to this locker room while integrating Cousins?

From all accounts, Cousins is not a problem off the court at all.
Swaggy P is likely an idiot, like JR Smith is, but when you put them in a winning environment where leaders hold them accountable for their stupid actions, they can be very good players.

They aren't bad guys. They are goofy guys. But when they are in winning situations, they have their head on straight. Swaggy was fine that half season with the Clippers

They wanted him to exercise his player option, not waive it.

Isn't Young one of the few guys who gets along with Cousins?

Agree, but I could see Boogie getting pissed when Swaggy P is just jacking up stepback jumper 3's.

In the community sure, but he has been downright abusive to some teammates in Sac...pretty sure that Stauskas is still in therapy. Don't think that happens here as hopefully he was just fed up with SAC organization and is taking this as a fresh start.

The coach makes his money by benching role players when they do stupid shite like that.

I really thing that was the crux of the issue. He didn't handle the frustration of his situation well and I'm sure he felt a lot of pressure being the only good player on the team. The pressure and frustration levels here should be very different.

No, they want him to waive it. Read my article from Monday and you know this teams EXACT plan. Their dream scenario is as much flexibility heading into this offseason as possible

So was Kobe and MJ, and no Cousins isn't kobe or MJ.

Garrett Temple was on the radio a day or two ago and had nothing but good things to say about Cousins as a teammate, and said he thinks part of Cousins problems, on the court with the techs, is that he has a reputation that he can't shake, and thus has a very short leash compared to others when it comes to techs.

Gentry is a player's coach
Demps is a former player from the Spurs as a GM
Davis and Holiday are young all-star talents

He should have a lot of potentially relateable guys in the organization to make it more comfortable.
