As if the Rockets need more shooting. Great great trade for them.

Also, why would the Lakers trade Lou Williams for frickin Corey Brewer and a very late first round pick?

Have you seen what the Lakers done today? Nothing makes sense anymore.

this is a terrific get for Houston
Williams can score in bunches and wears out 2nd units
got him for nothing too

More shooting. Insurance for if a guard goes down. Another guy who can get his own shot.

This seems like a really good trade for both sides. The Rockets get a good player that will strengthen their bench for the postseason. Meanwhile the Lakers get a first for their rebuild, and they also drop Lou which means more losses and a stronger chance of their own pick remaining in the top 3 so that it doesn't go to Philly.

Lou Williams is exactly twice as likely to make a corner three-point shot (52.5%) than Corey Brewer (26.2%) is.--courtesy of clutch fans

There is a possibility their first falls outside the top 3 and goes to Philadelphia. Of course, dropping Lou for Brewer increases the likelihood of their pick being in the top 3. They would rather have a potential top 3 pick in this deep draft than veteran Lou Williams who probably doesn't figure into their long term rebuilding plans.

Lou Williams went for shitty corey brewer and a late first.

That's shite value for him. Must be the problem in Los Angeles. Rest of the league didn't want him.

We don't care about his value to the rest of the league. Only peltards get up in arms about stuff like that.

Exactly, the Lakers are tanking which is the right thing to do. People on here are just convinced Magic will fail and ate hoping for it, so the negative group orgy is fun on here.
This is a good move plus they get a first round pick in what all the experts say is a deep draft.

Imma miss Brew and his energy. Sad to see him go, but happy to see him leave.

Deep draft? So 3 Americans before we can't pronounce the names of the foreign players?
