Do other Rockets fans wish they could talk their team on the MSB without it turning into a mass of boom vomit?

I get way more annoyed with all the Pels fans that constantly turn every basketball thread into a boom thread by taking stupid trolling jabs at him before he has ever even posted in it.

It's amazing how much boom is in the dome of some of you.

yea i dont know why everyone always gets all over boom, he's a mega fan and he was somewhat justified by all his bullishness as the rockets do indeed look like a 55 win team and probably the 3 seed and more than likely have the MVP on their squad. I love this site but the pelicans and saints homers get mad in any thread where anyone praises any player but anthony davis or drew brees as being the mvp of their sport.

James Harden gets crazy hate on here and its laughable at best, so he takes some plays off on defense, he's not the only guy. James is going to win MVP in all likelihood and yet people want to bash him constantly. Im a big rockets fan, Im not delusional enough to think the rockets win the title, they wont bc the NBA wants another cle vs warriors finals but injuries do happen, see derek carr in oakland, and the rockets are not a bad team. The pelicans are a good team in their own right with their big 3 now, but this isn't a 0 sum game, just bc the rockets are good doesn't mean the pelicans are bad. I don't think anyone is trying to insult pels fans and anthony davis by saying the rockets and james harden are good.

also as a rockets fan I bet pelicans +3.5 tonight, our big men are atrocious and the pelicans are going to eat us alive down low.

I can't see it biggie. You got ryno and Gordon playing their first game back in Nola we bound to get 45+ outta them.

You know they both have been rubbing it in the pels faces since they left with Gordon winning 3 PT contest in Nola and ryno making the three that set the league record for threes in a game last time.

CC by double digits.

I think our team is loaded right now, I wish we had one more big I dont like our rotation of nene/harrell off the bench with capela. I wish we could get wilson chandler for the wing and I wish we could get another big man but you've gotta love a closing lineup of lou williams/eric gordon/james harden/trevor ariza/ryan anderson when you need a bucket down the stretch.

but hakeem absolutely destroyed david when david won his MVP and david only got his titles bc of tim duncan, hakeem got his on his own basically in 94 and then with an old clyde drexler in 95, he didn't have tim duncan in his prime like robinson.

robinson was a great player but the 95 western conference finals should end any debate about him being on hakeems level

Hakeem only got his titles because the GOAT went on a hiatus.

See how easy that was?

wrong....have you seen how the mid 90s rockets owned the bulls while jordan played?

Look for yourself the rockets were 11-3 vs the bulls from 1985-1997, the hakeem era rockets matched up with jordan very well so again with the coulda woulda should thats irrelevant talk. Would Bill Russell have 11 rings if the warriors big 4 played in his era? You could say the same nonsense about anything.

for your time

LINK

Also Hakeem was probably one of the last guys to win a title legit on his own in 1993 without another all star on his roster. I think Cassell maybe made an all star game later in his career, but he was coming off the bench on that team. Even Dirk in 2011 had some previous all stars on his team: Peja,Marion, kidd, terry, chandler

It's literally all they got. 20 years from now, we will still hear about what happened in the mid-90's.

We can look back that far. Or we can look back at recent history. (Ie last two years). Take your pick.

Yep. And now I know what it feels like to be an opposing fan and have an aggy brag about how good their were 20 years prior. It's sad.

the rockets were in the western conference finals 2 years ago, you act like we've been in the league basement forever.

You aren't in the league basement. But you aren't in the group of league elite either, contrary to how many rockets fans view their team. Rockets have gotten past the first round twice in over 20 years...
