How is another team going to rebound playing small ball against Cousins and Davis?

We were a top ten defense before this trade. We have good coaching on the defensive side of the ball.

5 games. Pels prob won't even make the playoffs TBH. And if they do GSW will steam roll them in 4.

If other GMs around the league wanted cousins you don't get him for budman hield. Absolute head case. Locker room cancer. Zero leadership skills(and pair him with Davis 
) Only the most desperate of GMs in the league would make that move.

Cousins is a top 10 player. Most teams in the league would love to add him. Not many teams has the assets to do it and the teams that want him (and are in contention) also want butler/George so they're holding out in hopes to get them instead

The Orlando Magic with Howard and the Kings with Cousins is no way a fair argument.
Turkaglo and Rashard Lewis hitting 3's and creating the offense can't be understated enoug. Reddick and Courntey Lee for spot up 3's.
Jameer Nelson was playing good. They also had Marcin Gortat and was getting great minutes from Mikel Pietrus, who fell off the face of the NBA shortly after.
Who's the best player Cousins has played with, Rudy Gay. You realize in his 4th year in the league his team captains were Tyreke and Marcus Thornton? The Kings are and have been a shite show, which has been made more evident recently.

Cousins coulda been had by any team. The most desperate team in the league gave up barely nothing to get him. Tells B all I need to know. Things will go good for the rest of this season. 50/50 shot to make playoffs. Next year when the honey moon is over you gonna see why no one else wanted him.

i don't disagree with any of this, and it's a bit of a concern, but when you think about it, if it doens't work out on the court, or even if he doens't resign, what did the Pelicans lose for this chance, Buddy Hield and a 1st round pick in the mid to late teens? Well worth it.
