I think part of Gordon success has been the flow of the offense. Plus he is probably the healthiest he has been in a few years.
Sometimes just a change of scenery can had a positive effect on a player

I would assume. I haven't looked it up. I don't recall him jacking up contested 3's like Steph Curry.
I'm sure he just took them when he was open like he does on the Rockets.
He just has more opportunities to let it fly with the Rockets offense.

Gordon was always good. He can shoot, and he can drive.
His problem in NOLA was that he wouldn't get calls that most other players would when driving to the basket, and his health.
When he was healthy, he was pretty damn good in NOLA. It's just that he was healthy like 20% of the time he was here.

'Reno' held Davis to 18 or so in the first matchup v CC. FYI

Why, what were you arguing?

P you and I are on the same page re Gordon don't let that dude try to twist your words or mine for that matter. we both knew Gordon would be a better player in CC than for the pellies.

But he's the exact same...
Literally everything in like the absolute same.

I don't see it as the system making him look better than he is.
It's that the system is allowing his talent to flourish.
I think he's a better player than he was in New Orleans because the system allows him to succeed.

He's a winner. He's with a winning organization. He never was before. It's allowed his %s to hold consistent even though he's shooting way more 3pointers now than ever. It's why at last glance he was on pace to have the most threes made in a season besides curry. But yea, he's the same guy

Pels wanted him to be Catch and shoot only kinda guy.

You don't Bubba. Being able to keep the same efficiency with increased usage is what separates bench players from starters.

Yet he's a 6th man in Houston and was a starter in new Orleans.
Same percentages
Nearly identical bpm, per, ts%, ortg/drtg, and every advance stat you love to spew.
Only difference is 2-3 more 3s a game, but ignore the fact he had to share with 2 other ball dominant guards and AD. In houston he's the 2nd or 3rd option.

Steph Curry in 2011-12
.455 3 points % - 2.1 makes per games
Curry in 2015-16
.454 3 points % - 5.1 makes per game
According to the shels and trans around here these seasons are equal, and Curry wasn't a better player in 2015-16 because his % was the same.
