Dana White doesnt frick around. If Dana says it aint happening then it isnt going to happen. He owns Mcgregor at this point. Only thing Mcgregor can do is fight out his contract quick and then do the fight. According to Dana he has 4 fights left. At best starting now he could finish that up in a year and a half. If he loses, then Floyd may not want to fight anymore. Floyd may not want to wait that long anyway.
So basically unless this thing goes thru the UFC, then it isnt happening. Dana could stall this shite out for years in court and floyd would be 45 and connor broke.

Mayweather fights are boring AF and a waste of money. I'd love to see McGregor beat the shite out of him, but it won't happen. Mayweather is too good of a counter puncher.

It's just so unbelievably stupid that enough people want to watch this that the fight might happen. There's no way they can make this fight even. It's one-sided no matter what rules they use.

Diego corrales, Arturo Gatti, amongst others. Not like you would know but he used to be a much more aggressive fighter before he started having hand issues. He would whip Connors arse, easily.

I agree it's impossible to make it even regarless of the standard rules for each sport. Possibly something like "no breaks" on clinches could maybe even it up enough to watch, maybe. Floyd gets his chance to stay away and slap him..and if CM does get close, he can use his MMA skills to clinch fight.
That's the only rule adjustment that is somewhat fair to each IMO. Allowing kicks or take downs or forcing CM to only 'box' would result in boring fights.
