What to wear for a one day ski trip?

Going to Durango for Christmas, but will only have 1 day to ski. Don't need to spend a lot for 1 day. Any suggestions?

Just get you some ski pants that are water proof and any basic winter jacket that's water resistant.

Whatever you wear, make sure it's water proof. If it's your first time, you'll probably fall a lot. People who wear jeans and a north face will be soaking wet and miserable the rest of the day.

Last year, i went with ski pants, a nike base layer for my upper half, and a raincoat with sunglasses. Was perfectly comfortable
