These are some of the responses by Miles on his radio show last night.

quote:

Miles: I certainly understand your opinion. Cam works awfully hard. He does a great job. He makes the calls. I certainly understand everything at this point and time is to be criticized. I certainly understand that. I think you'll find that Cam'll do great things for us.

Certainly 3-for-8 is not the start that you wanted. If there are two drops in that 3-for-8 and Harris is 5-for-8, then he's relatively efficient. He missed a couple of throws, don't get me wrong, but the need to be efficient and run the football in an efficient manner so that the plays that we call, instead of being behind on the chains we're in very manageable down and distances. That was the reference that I had to efficiency.

To open up the offense, all we have to do is, it's a real interesting thing, if we completed 19 of 21, everybody in the place right now would be excited as we can be because we're right there. We missed on several balls. We weren't there. To me, it's not the playbook, it's having enough opportunities to continue to get first downs and continue to move the chains so that you can get a number of plays on the field. Frankly, we didn't convert our third downs to get first downs so we didn't have downs, we didn't have snaps so that you could see the offense. We had more offense than we could call in that game because we only had 50-plus snaps.

Hell, I have no dog in this fight and even I feel frustrated just reading Miles' answers. All he's doing is making excuses and saying a lot of words without really saying anything. I can't imagine how pissed off LSU fans must be who listened to his radio show last night.
