Offensively, we have abject mediocrity at Oline and QB. We have one really good back and a couple of WRs that are essentially there to block for said RB. They drop passes and can't get open for the aforementioned QB probably asking if time for the draft yet.

None of rhe TEs are anything to write home about. So where's this overflowing talent that les has stockpiled. I'm not seeing it.

I'm with you, to a degree.

OLine is in real trouble. They are not good.

TE is a position that we refuse to use to threaten defenses in any way. I don't even know if they are "good" , or not.

I KNOW that Dupree and maybe Dural are more talented than the UW receivers. It seems like we just don't do things to show their ability. UW receivers were put in positions to be wide open under our zone coverage.

We certainly are not creative, and we do NOTHING to challenge defenses to have to think or second guess what we might be doing.

Think about it...

As a D against us, you don't have to really worry about a tight end hurting you, you don't have to think about much zone read, you don't have to worry about mutiple receiver routes.

All you have to do is read VERY SiMPLE keys from our O.

The moving fullback. The wide receiver brought in on the edge of the line.

Absolute running plays, usually dives, no way out

frick this, nvm

Interestiing question. Is the offense just a part of a bigger ruse? Remember when we actually thought Miles wasn't winning with Saban's players?

At every position except quarterback, yes.

Skill positions are ridiculously talented.

QB has talent but doesn't keep his composure and stares down receivers. O-line being dogshit doesn't help his cause.

We don't use TEs in the passing game.

O-line stunk it up. Badly. They are supposed to be a talented group but did not look the part. I hope this loss lights a fire under their asses.

A capable QB would help to showcase the 4-5 star athelets that we have on offense .

Yes we do have talent, lots of it.

That is the problem they are not being coached up.

The problem with this team is wearing a headset on the sidelines. It is NOT a lack of talent.

Even Harris. He will never be an all American, but would be more than serviceable in Houston, Ohio State, Texas, Notre Dame and even Bamas offense among others.

There are 2 positions on offense at which LSU has a talent deficiency. Unfortunately, they are the 2 most important positions QB and OT. The deficiencies at those positions limit the ability to utilize the talents of those at other positions.

The offense is talented, no doubt. We all see the potential. The problem is talent and potential get coaches fired when there is no development.

When you have a QB that can not throw a 10 and out and never hit a WR in the numbers you have problems. We were lucky Lenard didn't get hurt on long pass. Ball was in the air long enough for DB to come from half the field away and cut him. The WR do not attack the ball and as for pass blocking, well, when they did give him time he couldn't hit WR so I guess they said what the hell, let's see how he does with heat on his butt!

Much more so than Wisconsin. We have several offensive lineman that will be playing on Sundays. Thats more than the large majority of what other teams have. We struggle with pass protection every season. We have more than enough talent to compete for a championship, it's all coaching.

I think 1/2 the bench is former 4-star wide receivers.

Simply put, no. Our Fanbase has deceived itself for a long time. We do not have any great advantage in talent, certainly not when compared to other "top-tier" programs.
Saturday should have made it obvious. Wisconsin had more talent on offense at every position except one. Please quit reading about stars and recruiting classes. It's what happens after they get to college that counts.
