How's Lakefront Brewery?

It is a fun place and a good tour.

However, to be brutally honest, it is the filthiest brewery I have been to.

And, I have been to a lot.

Dirty/peeling paint on the walls. Transfer hoses all over the not so clean floors.

I was there about three years ago, maybe they improved .

Pictured Rocks in the UP is pretty cool. Take the boat ride in Munising. If you are crossing from Door County to Minnesota you could check out Copper Falls State Park also or the Madeline island Apostle Islands area too.

Enjoy the trip and the fish frys

Not sure of the age of your youngin's, but Wisconsin Dells is worth a day or two. Tourist trap but fun as hell. Everything you can think of. Town of 5 thousand with 30,000 people moving there for the summer to work.

We stay at Mount Olympus every year. Great water park and lots of roller coasters. Free passes to the parks for each day you stay. Check in day and check out days included.

Beware of construction zones in Illinois. There are speed cameras and steep fines.......and the cameras are backed by legislation. They are, by law, the same as a cop issuing a ticket.

We have some pretty cool breweries to hit in Green Bay as well. Titletown and Hinterland are downtown. Badger State Brewing and Leatherheads are near Lambeau and Stillmank Brewery is east of downtown. Each worth the visit while you're here.

Forewarning that Titletown is playing host to the Wisconsin Pep Rally on Friday from 5:00pm - 12:00am.

ETA: of course it is open to the public, but it will be a cluster. Believe they are expecting 15,000 Wisconsin fans between their restaurant and brewery.
