I know everyone says Khan Acadmey but are there any others that people have used? Also what is your overall review of the help you've received using Khan Academy?

Thank you for your help!!

Khan, patrickjmt (sp?) , bff math girl (sp?).

You just have to learn the basics. If you just understand the rules of algebra manipulation and identities, any problem isn't that hard. Understanding what you are doing greatly helps. Memorizing steps is the wrong way to do math and math application.

I remember in calculus the issue I had was not the calculus, it was the algebra. Once I brushed back up in it, I aced the class. Take your time and try it instead of feeling overwhelmed.

Practice and more practice is what you need so you can identify easily what you are doing.

Wolfram alpha can show you a step by step explanation for any problems you cannot solve for pro members. I think pro is like $7 a month, but it could be handy if you get stumped on a problem

You can use a site like Symbolab which is free for step by steps directions on how to do a lot of different problems. Mathway and Wolfram Alpha are similar services and better, but they only give you the answers and you have to pay a subscription to get full access to step by step directions.
