You're out of touch with reality if you don't think hipsters are getting laid. It wouldn't be trendy if you couldn't get laid.

And for every hipster man, there's a hipster woman. They also tend to be less traditional when it comes to monogamy.

Is this what the condescending assholes believe we think is "masculine." I think slapping him for thinking this is far more masculine than any of his presumptuous bullshite.

Lemme guess. They're a bunch of pussies.

and I'm not denying that masculinity evolves with society, but that has always happened

I'm sure a man from 1850 would think men from the 1950s were pussies as well

Can't come up with anything resembling an intelligent response so you resort to the same tired personal attack. You've retreated to the tactics of the OT trolls. I thought better of you than this.

I understand that this is your perception, but all you're really doing is painting an entire generation with broad strokes based on your own personal observations and biases. What evidence do you have to suggest this is really true?

My experience with 20-somethings is not at all like yours.

I think it's safe to say blame can be put upon the parents. And who are the new effeminate males in America? I'd say it's safe to say 15-30 year olds fit within that category. That would put their parents at 40-55 years old today. Meaning their parents were born between 1961 and 1976. So their parents were offspring of the "greatest generation". Those that fought in WW2.

We can assume (by generalization of course) that the millenials grandparents were blue collar, salt of the earth people, who worked to provide a living for the family. We can also assume that some of their children sought to rebel against being brought up the way they were brought up. So in that effort, they essentially coddled their children (the millennials) and instead of saying no, said yes way too much. Which begets the current crop of sissy males in America. Granted this isn't every situation, and i do believe the sissy males are more of an outlier than what is common, especially in the south. But i believe they are products of rebellious parents wishing to raise their children opposite of their own. So now you have the current crop of effeminate teens and 20 somethings with no job prospects, expecting things handed to them because they never had to work for anything. These same do nothings think that they are special and that they need a cause. So they make up affronts to their being, and take up ridiculous causes based on greed and jealousy of others such as occupy wall street, black lives matter, and other "social justice" issues to give their young dumb lives meaning. Meanwhile, they are turning down careers, or run away from paths that could lead to careers because it may be too hard.

Perspective? You just insulted me with the usual OT bullshite about my MC. How do you have any "perspective" about me or my club when you've never met me nor know anything about any club I belong to?

And what does my MC have to do with what is being discussed here? Nothing. But as usual, when I say something that upsets you, you fall back to that. It makes you look petty and small. Like you can't think of anything to reply with so you just turn to insults. And you know what they say about someone in a debate when they resort to insults. Like I said, I thought you better than that but I guess I was wrong.

I know a lot of young professionals in NYC who agree with social justice causes. Your notion that it's a bunch of effeminate deadbeats is off the mark, at least based on my own anecdotal observations.

Again, you're disparaging something you know nothing about for no other reason than I said things that upset you. Every time you do this you look more and more petty.

What you're doing is no different than if you'd said something I didn't like so I started putting down some aspect of your life that I have no clue about.

Wow, that video really opened my eyes. It made me realize that some men are so clueless as to what masculinity is. There is literally not one masculine man in the whole show. But the show is filled with men trying to be masculine.

Masculinity is about power. The power to do anything. And your power over another person, your power to stop their power. Modern laws, and ways have shifted physical power to mental power.

That's why things are shifting, most people have either bronze or brains. It used to be bronze were the leaders in this world, but now it's brains, and bronze aren't doing as well.
