VICE UK Correspondent Gavin Haynes has come to the United States to determine what masculinity means to the American man. Though stereotypically masculine acts like fraternity hazings, monster truck rallies and food competitions still persist, there is a growing movement of men who are coming together to challenge these conventions and redefine machoism. Gavin meets with a host of these men, including a competitive eater, a troupe of stay-at-home-dads and a radical men's group hosting a slumber party in the woods, to survey the evolution of American masculinity for himself.

Calling other people cucks and betas on the internet is the new American masculinity.

the HBO show isn't really that great. their youtube videos are much better and more interesting
you can hit like 90% of the HBO show as follows:
1. climate change is here and will kill us; we need new energy sources
2. third world countries are terrible and do terrible things. here's one way that you haven't seen them be terrible!

Yup, pretty much sums it up.
Although the one about the HIV virus curing cancer was pretty fascinating.

I thought a few of the recent ones this season with the legal euthanazia and about the train station kids in India were really interesting
But yeah their Youtube channels have something new up every couple of days

Another great VICE episode on HBO was about voluntary/assisted suicide.
Agree, sometimes it gets redundant but I still watch. Makes me feel lucky to be born and raised in the U.S.

I'll have to check it out. I watch sooooo many shows on TV now(too many tbh)....that it's easy to forget about some of the other interesting shows.

Add blaming everything on the US, and you've got your story

yep
my wife won't watch them because she says she doesn't need to know about the new environmental disaster that is going to kill us all or how bad people have it in 3rd world countries while we sit in A/C house, drinking clean water and eating junk food, etc

There's plenty of blame for my generation as well. And it started with the boomers. The end result is this...

and, as the capstone project: 80s hair metal. a combination of over-styled hair, makeup, spandex, oddly-angled exposed body, and makeup
