lol i never said they removed calls.
If the phone dialed 911, it would appear in the logs

yes. So ill ask again, why dont you think they confirmed or denied that?
This is such an enormous leap during an investigation.
I'll ask this: why would they comment on it?

"they control the info presented"
So since it was released and only two calls around the same time and area were reported, you're saying they either removed it or didn't mention a call log that doesn't exist.

I've audited call logging systems for public entities before, and that is exactly what he's suggesting
Where did Hayes attorney say that he called 911 after the shooting?
Where did Hayes attorney say that he called 911 after the shooting?

why would they comment on the first 911 call?

Im saying they clearly only mentioned calls that came within contact of a dispatcher. Could be something, could be nothing.

They didn't.

Please enumerate the "lies" the Smith attorney told? LOL
Let me ask you this, did you watch it?

This is CLEARLY false
Where was it said that Hayes called 911 after?

the whole article was published to discredit the alleged 1st 911 call.
Why wouldnt they discredit the 2nd one in the same article?

They never said WHO made any of the phone calls, only that there was not one placed by ANYONE until after the shooting.

how is that clearly false? They describe both calls in that article. One to report the homicide, one to report the car accident. So clearly the dispatcher came into contact with 2 people over the phone.

All after the shooting

Yes.
But let me state. I also watch the video of the "hit and run" and am unconvinced. Just like you wanting to "see the call logs", I want to see physical evidence of a collision.
That video suggest there may have been a collision. without physical evidence, a jury can infer otherwise, particularly if one side disputes it.

Because I know how these systems work and actually read the article.
quote:
Gamble said all 911 calls are included in the department's log. He said even if the call is not answered from an operator, as long as the connection is made, the call is logged.
Now, ill ask again: where was it said that Hayes called 911 after the shooting

The article was written to follow-up on key statements made about a high profile case. The evidence just happens to call into question those statements. Deal with it.

Fuller said that his client called to report the accident. I'm assuming he meant the initial which we know never happened bc it didn't show up in the log.

I would ask for them to be more specific. Does an operator (or automated responder) need to pick up the call for it to be logged?
I do not believe so because they call back on some calls that are hang-ups (at least in well run cities they do, LOL).

You're correct, at least for most departments
