You of Sione Palelei? Similar in size and agility. I'm pumped for this young man.

He's a stronger runner than Paleli was. A little shorter and might not weigh as much, but he's a very physical runner and tough to bring down.

Haven't really had a back like him in a long long time.

The thing about Palelei was how good of a receiver he showed in his high school film (particularly junior year). Despite his short stature, he would somehow come down with jump balls thrown into double coverage. I would love for LSU to sign (and use) that kind of skillset out of the backfield. Ware was a great receiver (soft hands), but just wasn't the kind of scatback to get used like that in college.

A high profile recruit's dad claimed he was the best running back in this class a few weeks back.

Tremendous praise.

Watching him torch Denham Springs last year and in his highlight films, he reminds me a lot of Dalton Hilliard in high school. They're have similar running styles and size.

I played against Dalton in high school and I haven't seen too many backs with the "start-stop, change direction" ability that both he and Edwards-Helaire have.

I know the defensive players are a lot bigger and faster now than in the early 80's, but I'm still looking forward to watching this kid play at LSU.

Ray rice and Maurice Jones-Drew are good comparisons. He's a do it all back despite his short stature.

He can do a lot of things Dunn could do
Can he take the pounding in the SEC will be the question but if used right he could flourish
