The best I ever got was a 22...and looked how I turned out!

Want to go to college at a discounted rate? There's 4 services that you can join that only require 36 months of obligated service.

You can add your scores together, right?

I've have staggered it but that's not a bad place.
25 and up - half of full tuition
28 and up - full tuition up to a max of $7,500 per semester
30 and up - full tuition plus $500 per semester for books (just a little more incentive for the highest performers to stay in Louisiana).
I figured that any higher than 32 and they've probably got LSU and ULL covering the difference anyways.

@rebekahallen: Stat Rep. Larry Bagley is in disbelief that the ACT score min for TOPS could be 28. "Surely, you're not correct," he says to LOSFA dir.

Sounds awesome. Let's cut it and effectively force it to be merit-based.

This is a good thing. I'd be fine with 25-27 qualifying for some sort of award if possible too.

Is it retroactive or only applies to incoming freshmen?

This sounds like a back door way to close SUNO, southern, etc. there is no way they will be able to make enough money to stay alive.
