Their biggest carrot is if you're a national merit semifinalist they completely waive out of state tuition, and I had a really crappy day on the PSAT. In fairness, I did apply to UT really late in the game, like maybe April of my sr. year. I did get a few small scholarships from random stuff I applied for that were good irrespective of where I went to school, but I didn't get anything from UT.

I like keeping it low to get more people into college. Lets get more people to go to college for Louisiana to have a more educated workforce. I want less barriers for people getting an education and not more such as cost.
