Luckily the bar is set very very low.

I think you'd be surprised how much worse the defense could be.

We have alot of you guys talent on this team and they need a solid coaching staff to mold them into something special. I hope he can get it done.

How the hell is Vitt still employed by the Saints? Has this guy ever developed a good LB for us?

I would be. We would just be breaking our own recent records for defensive suckage.

I actually like all 3 hires...

And love the Campbell and Glenn hires. Younger guys that are former players and have experience as coaches. And bring some energy and excitement to the table, which is something I like we've lacked.

I don't think anyone would complain if both Vitt & Bill Johnson were shown the door.

That makes the big 3. I'd be elated if we can get 2 of them done.

I don't see how you can see optimism with that related to these hires--two of his former players and a guy who was on his staff for years and was a FAIL in Detroit. It sounds a little like he's adding more members of "the club" to the team.

I'm not seeing optimism. I'm hoping for common sense. I see the recent hires as upgrades...that also happen to be friendly faces to CSP. We'll see what CSP is all about soon. Does he want to get back to the SuperBowl or keep his buddies on staff?

As an offensive coordinator. Brees seems to like him a lot as a quarterback coach.

Campbell, Allen, and Lombardi all part of Super Bowl team.

...lost Allen and Lobardi because of their/the team's success.

Bring back Kromer and Curtis Johnson.

New #Saints coach Aaron Glenn and DC Dennis Allen were teammates, DBs on Wrecking Crew defense at Texas A&M in 1992-1993.

All 3 need to go, big time.

I like these hires, though. New energy.

Campell might be CSPs replacement.

Why would we hire Lombardi as QB coach, when Brees is his own coach.

I think Payton and Brees are gone. Is Watson eligible to go pro?
