I Finally Realized The Difference in LSU and Bama While Watching the NC

Alabama's mentality is that of a warrior, they are willing to do whatever it takes to both the best recruits and the best coaching.
LSU decided to keep Miles because he's a nice guy, and some of the fans like him. What a great story. To winners, it reeks of the stench of mediocrity, and that's exactly what LSU will get with Miles.
If you want to be a NC program, act like you are a NC program; tell Miles, thanks for the memories (and btw, you're welcome for the millions in $ over the years) but it's time for a new chapter in LSU history.
We should have given Jimbo whatever he wanted (and we are incredibly fortunate to be one of the few programs that have that ability).
The evangelical right in the fanbase say "Keep Miles because he's a nice 'aw shucks' guy" and "Aleva's an a-hole because of how he treated Miles," when those of us who don't settle for mediocrity in our lives see that Aleva also has the warrior soul; whatever it takes to be that elite program.
No matter where you stand, we all know retaining Miles is just prolonging the inevitable. We could have had Jimbo, but blew it.
Enjoy slipping further into mediocrity every year, until it's back to the dark ages when we were right on the cusp of pushing the program over that cliff again like we did when we hired Saban in 2000.

You've got that all wrong...
The people who wanted to keep Les are the SJW liberal pansies who thought LSU was getting too powerful for all of the other programs. You have to share the burden and spread the wealth.
Those supporting the change were conservatives who want to make LSU great again.

Nice, another I hate Miles thread

For some reason, Alabama is some crazy fiscally responsible school and government system where no one needs to question the amount of money that is thrown at the athletics there. LSU on the other hand is apparently subject to the poverty of their state government.

Ah, meshing the retardation of the OT, Poliboard, and Rant all into one post. Well done.

I'm just glad your stupidity isn't limited to the OT.
This thread is fricking awesome.

Busy losing their bowl game to a non-Power 5 conference team.

A Willow Street wonder.Geaux enjoy your high school stadium and leave the big boy stuff to the big boys.

LSU will never be Alabama. Never. Posting that they can be with this, or that coach, is dreaming. No coach with possibly the exception of Saban, and maybe not even then, can any coach raise LSU to the same tier as Alabama with Saban as coach. Not Meyer, not Kelly, not even Belichick can turn LSU into Alabama. Do yourselves a huge favor, and just deal with it.

Ridiculous assertion & assumption.

People who wanted to fire Les are ignorant liberals who believe LSU is entitled to success every year because the hard work brought it before.
See how easy that was?

You lost me at Alleva being a warrior. His tenure at Duke demonstrates otherwise. He failed to defend his own student athletes against false accusations. No balls at all.
And you probably posted this from your luxury non-mediocre triple wide.
